Georgia Marjoribanks

Georgia’s commitment and enthusiasm to volunteer leadership ranges from sport to assisting refugees. As a resident of Fenner Hall, she served as Sports Coordinator, Senior Resident and Community Coordinator. She was a representative on the 91ÊÓƵStudents’ Association and a member of various student clubs. Georgia was involved in the 91ÊÓƵAid and Development Community and has been an energetic member of the Cross-Disciplinary Student’s Academy at 91ÊÓƵsince its establishment. An active sportswoman, Georgia has represented 91ÊÓƵat the University Games in hockey.

Georgia also made significant contributions outside the 91ÊÓƵcommunity. She was a volunteer Research Assistant helping a South-East Asian legal NGO establish free legal clinics, a Homework Tutor for the Canberra Migrant and Refugee Resettlement Service’s After School Homework Program, and is a member of the Canberra Refugee Support Network.
