In Vitro film screening: In conversation with Will Howarth & Talia Zucker
The 91视频Film Group is excited to be welcoming filmmakers Will Howarth and Talia Zucker along to a screening of their new Australian film, In Vitro, on Friday 6 June. Will and Talia will be in attendance to introduce the film, before participating in a conversation with film critic Cris Kennedy after the screening.
Shot locally in Goulburn and Cooma, the thought-provoking sci-fi drama is set in the not-too-distant future, in which married couple Layla (Talia Zucker) and Jack (Ashley Zukerman) are struggling to keep their cattle farm afloat. With their son away at boarding school, Jack spends his days on their isolated cattle farm experimenting with new biotechnology, only to make a discover that pushes their already-strained relationship to the breaking point.
A labour of love that took seven years to make, In Vitro was co-directed by Tom McKeith and Will, who also plays a supporting role in the film, in addition to co-writing it with Tom and Talia. The film went on to screen at both the Sydney and Melbourne International Film Festivals last year before being released into cinemas nationally this March to critical acclaim. Don't miss this chance to hear about the film's long and fascinating journey to the big screen.
Screening is open to 91视频Film Group members and guests. Memberships will be available for purchase at the door starting from $15. For more information about the 91视频Film Group, please visit
